LabexMER participation in the COP22

The Conference of the Parties (COP) met in Marrakech from 7 to 18 November, to take stock of progress in the negotiations of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) following the Paris agreement. The LabexMER and its partners will attend COP22 to raise awareness among the general public, decision-makers, social-economic stakeholders and the scientific community about the major role of oceans in the struggle against climate change, in cooperation with the Ocean & Climate Platform and the Ocean under Stress and ResponSEAble projects.

UBO also organizes a meeting with his Moroccan partners on November 11, a special day dedicated to “Ocean” thematic, in the Civil Society Green Zone of the COP22.
